Great Syrian restaurant located just a short walk from our Oslo flats and rooms for rent. This restaurant offers a wide range of food for every taste and budget.

We tried two dishes, the muhammara and special chicken shawarma. You get a great amount of food for the price, but the muhammara (a delicious Middle Eastern dip made from roasted red peppers, walnuts, breadcrumbs, garlic, and olive oil) was a bit too salty for my taste. The special chicken shawarma was delicious and we were offered free coffee and we even got a taste of their special cakes.

  • Big portions, great value for money
  • Free coffee
  • Friendly staff

  • The muhammara was a bit too salty
  • Long waiting time
